Essay and Project Toddler Group

Just a few more days and need to submit my essay, I have done just about 1/3 of it but the Easter holiday starts tomorrow so have to slow down and have a little bit of break. The past 2 days I have been busy as well looking at things for my new classroom which is the toddler group. Had a meeting in one school and then today took a look at some of Ikea's things for kids, some are really good, some not so much. Well too many things going on here .. oh well..

Essay Writing

I think my brain and my skills at essay writing has dwindled. I have been reading and reading my textbooks and couldn't figure out a way to write Assignment 1 for my M. training. I would be happy when this is over but sad to say, I just started it and there are more to come!! Maybe about 10 or 12 of them?? I need to get a system how to do it, I just don't know how to summarize all my thoughts in 2000 words. Either I have nothing or I have too much! Information overload!! I used to have those moments when thoughts would just come out from my brain like water coming out from a water tap. Maybe they are right too much caffeine and alcohol kills some of your brain cells- I think my brain cells are depleted. Help - want new brain for essay writing.

New Classroom

My boss called me to her office today.. she is going to transfer me to a new classroom next schoolyear .. aaahhh.. with the toddlers...waaahhh

Now what will I do with my ongoing studies for 3 - 6 year olds?

Who will I work with?

Can I face the music and the new challenge?

I have to change the whole lay out of the classroom...

I'm confused.. that's why this is a diary of a confused newbie

Stay tuned..

no school

Yey, no school for one week:) The school has a one week ski break. Teachers are all happy and can sleep late and recover from all the viruses they got from the kids in this long, cold, dark winter. I sure wish it's Spring soon.

Aside from that I told you all (or maybe just myself) that I will be starting my new studies - it turned out that the women at the school isn't too organize and has almost forgotten me despite all my emails to her! There is a silver lining to it though as my hubby said, at least I don't need to study now during my break.

Nevertheless, work situation is not so fine. We don't have 100% enrollees and it seems for next school year we might get only 50% of the usual students - well as now it is confirmed that we only have 50% reservation for next school year. My colleagues are all anxious and starting to be really panicky and doing some crazy things to each other to hang on to their jobs. I don't have any worries, at the moment I am still an assistant teacher and not getting much paid (still don't have my extra Montessori diploma). What I would miss about this job if ever I need to go one day is the looooongggg holidays. I know I'm having a break now but in 6.5weeks I have another 2 week break. It's spring break.

Yey.. or oh no???!!!

It's yey!! - because I will be starting my distance learning program this February - the papers and books are probably via Royal Mail now..
It's ney??? !- because I will start to burn the midnight oil again - cramming and studying writing papers -- preparing for exams and getting all stressed up...
Oh and I am sorry for those who started visiting this blog and didn't get any news- I should have continued writing here but I thought nobody goes to read it anyway. Nevertheless - this gives me the motivation to start a series of post about my so called 1 year anniversary at my new work place which isn' t so new now.
After 11 months and a couple of days finally saw the true colours of my colleages.. some funny stories - some really weird stories and some --let's not just mention it.
Well so far so good.. I am looking forward to the next break which is in 1.5 week.. would love to sleep longer and would love to start reading my assignment?? :) haha.. but really I don't know, why do I keep on doing this to myself..
a friend asked me - why do I want to study again?
Me : I don't really know I just have this nagging feeling/conscience that tells me to go on - further and further ..there is always room for improvement..

schooling

I was able to get in touch with the school in London and they said I can actually start soon after I have filled up the forms and paid the fees of course. I'm happy that I don't need to do any more unnecessary exams for the application. The admission's office told me my credentials are good. Thank goodness I cannot be bothered with admission's test and all or doing that Cambridge diploma (an english profiency test of sort) etc. etc. I saw that in the website and I thought to myself - oh no, another money making device! Those exams normally cost so much money.

I would be assigned to a teacher and I would be sending her my papers and do my exams here in Frankfurt. After finishing some modules I need to go to London for a seminar. Well this have to wait till August. I need to show the program to the boss and of course we can finalize the financial aspects of it. Then I am back to studying again! My goodness, learning never ends!
